In my 16 years work experience I have gone back and forth between entrepreneurship and being a leader in the international hospitality industry, which have brought me to where I am: client oriented and strong belief in personalized processes.

For me, it’s simply put, the exact opposite of playing the victim syndrome, it’s about looking beyond what you are supposed to be doing according to the job description, it’s about not waiting for things to just happen and for your managers and colleagues to guess what’s in your mind and what you actually need and what drives your motivation.

Consulting and mentoring is about having someone who is an expert in your field – who diagnoze problems, prescribes and offers advising, counseling and helps you implement solutions.
In therapy, the focus is often on resolving difficulties arising from the past and helps you better understand some specific emotions or behaviors you might have and better deal with the present in a more emotionally healthy way.
Coaching is the right fit for you if you want to work with the present context and challenges and looking constantly into the future growth and development, also if you value collaboration, other viewpoints and new perspectives, if you are willing to devote time and energy to making real change. So, in coaching, I will not tell what to do, I will just be there along the way and flexible around your own way of learning in order to keep you focused and accountable.

The real and sustainable change doesn't happen all of a sudden, unless you want a very short term solution, but instead that will not help you on the long term.
Your success in this program is very much about your own willingness to change something, to take a step back and reflect, to start acting with baby steps in a growing direction and also to be aware that the best learning happens when you're not so comfortable (that doesn't mean it has to be completely discomfortable)
In measuring the impact of coaching, I like to talk about ROI (Return on Investment) when we work with measurable and monetizable goals, but even more about ROE (Return on Expectations). I want to know what your expectations are.
Since coaching is a partnership, ask yourself whether collaboration, other viewpoints, and new perspectives are valued. Also, ask yourself whether you or your business is ready to devote the time and the energy to making real changes. If the answer is yes, then coaching may be a beneficial way to grow and develop.
